IWHI will be working to continuously procure laboratory equipment and critical supplies for delivery directly to the veterinarians, physicians, and rangersworking within these vital wildlife support organizations:
Wild Horizons Wildlife Trust… a non-profit organization whose mission is to advance and promote environmental conservation in Southern Africa through:
- Hands-on wildlife research
- Management of a wildlife medical care facility and orphanage
- Education and empowerment of indigenous resources through active involvement in conservation training
- Community outreach programs

Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, this national park of nearly 2 million hectares, SANParks - Kruger National Park is unrivalled in the diversity of its life forms and a world leader in advanced environmental management techniques and policies.
In collaboration with scientists from around the world, SANParks’ scientists strive to provide the knowledge needed to manage parks in a fast changing world.
Scientific Services forms the hub of formal learning within SANParks via research and management implementation and practice. This research and the practice of conservation science is broadly organised into four key program areas:
- Conservation Interface
- Species Research
- Systems Research
- Logistical Support .
Truly the flagship of the South African national parks, Kruger is home to an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals.
