William R. Lance, DVM, MS, PhD, Diplomat ACZM Chairman
Dr. Lance also serves as Chairman of Wildlife Equities Inc., the President of Wildlife Pharmaceuticals, and one of the
founders and Chairman of the International Wildlife Health Institute. Dr. Lance was also co-founder of PR Pharmaceuticals, a specialized human
pharmaceutical company, and served as COO, Executive Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer until he resigned 1 February 2004 to form Wildlife
Equities Inc. He remains as an outside Director of PR Pharmaceuticals. He guided the development of Wildlife Pharmaceuticals to its current
international position in the field. He has more than 20 years experience in developing, registering and marketing specialized pharmaceuticals.
He received his DVM from Oklahoma State University in 1965, his MS in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University in 1971, his PhD in
Pathology from Colorado State University in 1980. He was elected to the American College of Zoological Medicine in 1998. He was recognized for
his contributions to and achievements in zoo and wildlife medicine as the 2003 recipient of the Ulrey Award from the American Association of
Zoo Veterinarians. Dr. Lance is an affiliated director*.
David K. Smith
Treasurer
Mr. Smith brings over 20 years of business experience crossing a wide range of accounting and financial activities. His
career began as a Certified Public Accountant with the international accounting firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Co. (now KPMG) where he
specialized in auditing various manufacturing concerns. In addition, Mr. Smith provided business consulting services and corporate income tax
preparation. His most recent position was that of Vice President and Corporate Controller for Advanced Energy Industries, Inc., a
high-technology manufacturer of instruments used in thin film plasma-based processes. Mr. Smith’s duties included responsibility for accounting
systems, cash management, risk management, taxation and government compliance. Mr. Smith played a significant role in the formation of foreign
subsidiaries in Japan, Germany, England, Korea, Taiwan, and China. He was also involved in the acquisition of domestic subsidiaries in Colorado,
New Jersey, California, Minnesota and Washington. During his 13 year career at Advanced Energy, Mr. Smith was a key participant in the company’s
initial public offering, two secondary offerings and three major business enterprise software implementations. Mr. Smith graduated with honors
from Colorado State University with a BS degree in Business Administration. Mr. Smith is an affiliated director
Michael W. Branham
President
Mr. Branham is a native of Kilimanjaro, Tanzania and has over 35 years experience in the world of international wildlife
activities. His career began as a professional hunter and adventure guide covering all the continents with emphasis in Africa and Alaska. His
business and management experience in this industry includes operational and financial analysis and evaluation of numerous outdoor adventure and
wildlife recreational businesses. Mr. Branham is an international expert and consultant for private investment groups. In several ventures, he
made detailed analysis of operational requirements, negotiated terms of purchase, and provided foundational international marketing plans and
strategies. He holds life memberships in several major professional outdoor organizations and is an active member of several major international
conservation organizations. These past four years, Mr. Branham has served as the personal guide for the host of a successful ESPN television
show, “Under Wild Skies”. Currently he serves on the United Kingdom Board for Lewa Wildlife Conservancy out of Kenya, East Africa. Mr. Branham
has a Bachelors degree with a double major in Business Administration and English from Texas Christian University (1969).
Cobus Raath, BVSc
Dr. Raath spent the first decade of his career as the veterinarian for the National Parks Board of South Africa (Chief
Veterinarian for Kruger National Park). Since 1997, he has been the Director of Afrivet, a private company aimed at training veterinary students
through active participation in game capture and wildlife veterinary medicine. He is also the director of Wildlife Pharmaceuticals South Africa,
which actively investigates new pharmaceutical preparations with the goal of registering them for use in wildlife. Dr. Raath has made numerous
appearances on television broadcasts (Animal Planet) and documentaries. Dr. Raath is an affiliated director*.

Ms. Elizabeth Searle Elizabeth (Betsy) Searle, is a native of Lake forest, Illinois, now living in Cherry Hills
Village, Colorado. A graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, she is very active in education and wildlife conservation. A current Board member of
Kent Denver School, Englewood, Colorado, Board member (past Board Chair) of Garrison Forest School in Maryland and past Trustee of Graland
Country Day School in Denver. Betsy is passionate about wildlife and conservation issues worldwide, traveling to Africa several times a year.
In addition, Betsy serves as a Board member of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Kenya, active with The Nature Conservancy and her family’s, Kinship
Foundation, and Kinship Conservation Initiative An avid fly fisherman, hunter, skier and generally enjoys most outdoor activities. An active
wife and mother of three children, she shares her passions with her family.
Ms. Joan Donner
Joan Donner has extensive and valuable experience in international conservation organizations. She currently serves on the boards of the African Wildlife Foundation, the L. S. B. Leakey Foundation, and the Gallman Memorial Foundation. She has served on the National Board of the Smithsonian Associates, the Advisory Board of the National Zoo, the Advisory Board of the NOAH Center of the National Zoo, as well as the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is serving on or has served the boards of other national and regional organizations supporting natural history, art, plus the history and culture of the West. Her interests and passions are wildlife preservation, conservation education, horticulture, prehistory and ancient cultures.
She and her husband Bob enjoy life and their broad interests from their residence in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Dr. William A. Wall
William A. Wall, PhD, CWB is a 5th generation Texan with an undergraduate degree in Wildlife Management, an MS in Zoology, and a PhD in Forest Wildlife Ecology & Management. During his PhD work Dr. Wall pioneered an approach to determining the affects of hunter harvest on population structure and genetic variation of harvested wildlife species. His 30 year career has been diverse ranging from developing endangered species management programs and ecosystem management strategies on private forest lands to developing sustainable use programs to support conservation in Africa, Central Asia and Russia. Dr. Wall was a founding member and received recognition for his work with the Black Bear Conservation Committee, a collaborative process of private landowners, government agencies, universities and NGO’s for restoration of the Louisiana Black Bear to its native range. Dr. Wall was recognized with the prestigious Chuck Yeager Award for Outstanding Achievements in Conservation from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. Dr. Wall is currently working with Alaska Native Corporations to develop conservation programs for 44 million acres of private lands in Alaska.
